Student Research Positions – Summer 2017
NIH Summer Research Program
The objective of the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis NIH Neurotrauma Summer Research Experience is to expand and diversify the next generation of scientists in the clinically relevant yet underrepresented field of Neurotrauma. Students involved in the proposed program will not only be exposed practically and theoretically to scientific research, but will also participate in cutting edge, NIH-funded projects that could have significant impact on the field of Neurotrauma and the US healthcare system.
Schedule and Stipend: Students will be expected to work full-time (40hrs per week) beginning May 22 thru July 28, 2017. Compensation is based on funding provided to the program.
Applicants: All applicants must be considered an “Undergraduate” student by May 22, 2017 and be a U.S. Citizen or resident alien status with a current green card.
*Deadline to submit completed application is: 5:00pm on February 6, 2017
*Students will be notified of the panel’s decision no later than March 31, 2017
